Introducing
Pastor Rev. L. David Dake
and his wife Nancy
Rev. Dake grew up in Elyria, OH, attended the University of Akron and Lorain County Community College, and then moved to Georgia to pursue his ministerial study. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa, GA, a Master’s Degree from Columbia International University of Columbia, SC, and was ordained in 1997. He served as a Pastoral Intern at Grace Church in Middleburg Heights, OH and as senior pastor of Bethlehem Chapel of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Wheeling, WV for 8½ years before coming to Lodi in January of 2004. Nancy has a degree in Elementary Education and currently serves as the church's Christian Education Director.
The Dakes have three children. The oldest is Araenae who is married to Tom and they live near Jeromesville. Ohio. Araenae and Tom remain active in this church. Next in line is Kelsey who is married to Ethan and they live in Indiana. The youngest is Josiah, a full time student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. Josiah has a strong interest in Music and has a presence in church services when he is back living at home.
